A Little March

March 1 – March 31, 2013
Since we are hopelessly behind on our journal, we've decided to do a whirlwind edition...Hang on to your hats...here we go! Started off the month taking a day trip to Lakehill Preparatory School where we went on Abby's field trip.  Happy 7th Birthday, Abby!

Ordinary weekly activities...plus an extra special Saturday when Carolyn and I had a girls' day out.

We're always blessed when we get to visit friends and family. This month was a treasure trove of that. First, we met one of our former students, Abi Robins, for lunch and a six year catch-up on life! Then we drove to Lindale one day to visit Heidi and tour her new job site. Finished up that week with a visit from Leah Renee'.

Working at the lake keeps Jim out of trouble, so he says. A March march concert ends the band season for the summer. New phones are either going to be a step in growing technologically or the death of us; the debate is still going on. Our last month to keep the nursery at church. We adore Jeremiah and have thoroughly enjoyed watching him grow!

Jim answered the call for a Bugler for a Coast Guard funeral in Lindale.  Then it was to the nursing home for his Mom to see him.
We ended the month as we began it...with family! Nothing finer! John sent us a picture of our great grandson Rhett, Kelly's Mom, Jan, sent us pictures of Ava and our new grandson Jack, and my sister Carol and her grandson, Tyler, were in the neighborhood so we met them in Lindale. And, last but not least, we celebrated Angela's birthday over at TJ's house to close out the month. Have I mentioned how blessed we are?

We close with a quote that fits our journal writing skills lately.

"The time for action is now. It's never too late to do something. Antoine de Saint-Exupery
