We left Sheridan this morning for a day trip to Little Bighorn Custer Battlefield in Montana. A very sobering history lesson and sight.

Sheridan to Cheyenne, Wyoming
We were up and at it early this morning as we are trying to beat the cold weather front that was headed our way...Thanks to Eve who sent this to give us the extra incentive we needed!
Our previously planned trip from Billings, Montana, to Fargo, North Dakota, went on the to-do list for a future trip as we headed south.

Our time in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana left us with a feeling of sadness and bewilderment about the series of events that destroyed so-called "savage" cultures that had called the West their home for so many years before "civilization" took over.
